I found out I was containing it with my hands - they were not always 100% sterile. So I learned that I had to add some essential oil that was anti-microbial - I am using Tea Tree Oil. I am also only making 2 weeks worth and making sure i wash my hands first. <br /><br />The first batch i made was too moist, my skin was always to soft and would exfoliate away when I showered, causing raw skin - if that makes sense. So I switched to aloe too.
